I am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and love to talk about how food plays a huge role in how we look and feel.
I studied holistic nutrition at the Canadian School for Natural Nutrition. I was astounded by what I was learning. I felt that if I had learned this earlier in my life I would never have ended up in poor health. I really believe that if you know better, you do better. My life has really transformed physically and emotionally making me stronger and happier. I am still on my journey to remain healthy as I age. I feel better and look better than I have in years.
I have personally struggled with my weight, going through the all too familiar cycles of gaining, losing and gaining again. I also developed arthritis which resulted in chronic pain and diagnosed with adrenal fatigue resulting in insomnia. I knew I had to make changes. I changed the way I ate and what I ate and learned how to build strength. I lost 50 pounds and now enjoy a life relatively free from pain.
I have decided to continue to learn, help others in their journey to health and enjoy the latter half of my life in the best possible mind and body that I can manage.
